Yuneec releases the H520E
The latest update to the enterprise workhorse, the H520, the H520E hardware utilizing OFDM radios gives a more extended range; updated with an RTK engine provides RTK plus PPK for surveying solutions; and its updated processor for adding applications. Coupled with new software updates, it makes the H520E the best price-performance in its class. Its flight controller is based on the familiar open source project PX4, which is extremely stable and reliable. In the US, the newest commercial solutions and technology are available through Yuneec Holding’s Advanced Technology Labs Americas, a Yuneec Holding Ltd. Yuneec co-engineering with Lecia and FLIR introduces the ION L1 Camera for photography, dual Thermal, and optical zoom cameras
Leica and Yuneec jointly developed the ION L1 Pro Camera for the Typhoon H3 Hexacopter from Yuneec. The 1” sensor in the ION L1 and the optical system is adapted for photography needs in a hexacopter platform. Particular attention to minimizing ghosting and lens flare resulting in exceptional sharpness and contrast with minimal distortion. Dual thermal and vision, and optical zoom cameras are released for the H520 commercial-grade hexacopter. These cameras are plug-and-play and require no tools to change or add. The E10T and E10Tv are dual vision and thermal using the FLIR® Boson sensor for 320x256 and 640x512 resolution respectively. The E30Z provides 30x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom resulting in being able to read a license plate 1 mile away.

Yuneec introduces ready-to-fly, out-of-the-box drone
In 2014, Yuneec comes out with the ready-to-fly, out-of-the-box drone. The Typhoon Q500 quadcopter features a 1080p camera (60 FPS), a 3-axis gimbal and 5.8 GHz long-distance real-time digital video link. The Typhoon Q500 has the Smart Transmitter (the “ST-10 series Ground Station”). This combines a 2.4 GHz radio control transmitter with a 5.8 GHz digital video link along with a built-in Android touch screen, creating an easy-to-fly platform perfect for video capture.
E-Spyder receives certification for an electric aircraft
The E-Spyder, a single-seat electric powered aircraft, features the innovative PowerDrive 24 propulsion system integrating the motor, motor controller, 75-volt battery, and charger. The E-Spyder receives a certification for an electric aircraft from Deutschen Ultraleichtflugverbandes (DULV) e.V in 2013.
